Right this may sound stupid but does this mean that I can upload sexual content and as long as I tag it with the content rating I can get past youtubes TOS and sleep easy at night or does it really just mean that I can still get my channel banned nobody has mentioned this

@Aspergianstar2009 No. Maybe you could do something educational based, but I wouldn't bother. Post that content on Dailymotion or elsewhere.

Do you know if it actually makes a difference though with the ratings? I've never done anything with them so wondering if I should bother going through old ones and changing them.

@JoshRimer As of right now, I'm not aware if it does. In the future I could see it mattering to advertisers if YouTube displayed that rating system to them. Not every company wants to advertise with videos that have sexual content or graphic content. From a viewer stand point as well this could be implemented into YouTube Safety to help block videos that are inappropriate.

@theshadowfan So I'd imagine that in the long term it would be beneficial to go through your videos and insert content ratings.
