Ah Edwin - by far the best mage in both games. The only other decent mage in BG1 was Dynaheir but if I remember rightly she couldn't use Conjuration spells. In BG2 I suppose Aerie was half-decent because she was a cleric as well. I always played BG2 ToB with Edwin in my party, not Aerie.

@hoza41 That's actually one MORE reason to take him with you! It's hilarious when he fights with someone else in the group.

I loved Edwin - too bad the NPC system BG2 used was a bit too roleplaying heavy so I couldn't take him with me ;(

This game was sooo awsome. I never could find character interraction as great as that. The NPC's were the game and Edwin was downright hilarious!
