I Don't Want To Forget

Just a pre-description note: Nothing has/is going to happen to Lady. We're both fine, I just really love the quote and it made me realise how much I love her.

After over a year with her, I cannot imagine life without her! She has taught me so much and I like to think i've taught her a fair bit too (human food is not always nice).

I really love her and it just feels 'right' when i'm with her. Like it was meant to be, in a world where everyone lives happily ever after. 2012 I have lots planned for the little fatty. At one point I was going to take my friends amazing shire X cob beasty thing to dressage because I didn't think Lady would be ready. But I've now decided to take her because I'll get a greater sense of achievement from it rather than riding someones 'ready-made' horse (Shrek's not 'ready-made' by any stretch of the imagination but compared to Lady, a donkey is 'ready-made'.

I have had to work so damn hard to get this pony to where she is now. To you it may not seem like we've come very far, but for me, she's like a new pony.

But god. this quote. I have never realised how much meaning it has :/ crying due to how much this reminds me of Vogue :'/

The bareback neckstrap riding. With Vogue I just felt.. so safe. I knew her back to fount. I knew which buttons to press. never had that..or similar before. :( god I miss my pony :'/
