Bobby Hull was a hockey hero to many and is a living NHL Hockey Legend, he's also a great ambassador for the game. Bobby was in Duluth as the guest speaker for the Eighth Annual Cancer Shootout event that benefits the St Lukes Regional Breast Center. Here he's at the Mars-Lakeview Ice Rink in Duluth on Saturday April 5th 2008 chatting with Tommy Williams Jr about his dad. Bobby was scheduled to meet people and sign autograph's from 1-3 pm, Mr. Hull was still signing past three o'clock and finished about 4pm. The thing that struck me the most was his patience, concern and interest for the youngsters as well as the old-timers.

  • What a guy.

When I was a kid back in the mid 1980's Bobby's son Brett came to a couple of my hockey practices- I was playing at woodland/glen avon at the time. He kept shooting our pucks over the net and into the woods, every time he did it he would appolagize to our coach- the next spring when the snow melted, I went back in those woods and collected all the pucks.

Brett was playing at UMD at the time- I remember one game when bretts helmet came off-he just kept skating and bombed their net..

  • Awesome comment, thats cool stuff.

Anyway, I just remember that red hair flying down the ice...he had CRAZY eyes for sure!

Well anyway, those were great old days of the DOGS.

    GOD BLESS.
