These compilations are always interesting seeing who's influenced whom, but really!! how many original riffs are there! you write a song, go back far enough you'll find loads that share similarities! and the melodies that make songs hits!!! there are even fewer of them! I think we must accept that there is no true originality anymore simply iterations of what went before!
