  • @mrfwest I am not trying to diss you man, but this is a global world and as a Chinese, I love your nation and even have a house there. Your leadership and advances in all areas are truely respectable and you guys are really more than what your economy and about to default (8/2) government reflects. Just do not be a dick and pound on my nation for stupid reasons without research. After all, you guys had 150 years headstart, we only had 30 years. Peace.

  • @mrfwest In order for a country to not pay, they will have to engage in a full military war with the creditor. China just extended the "Frendliness Treaty" with Russia which includes full military support, so it will be tough for the US to beat two. Can your uneducated statement be true? Sure, the US can say screw it. But guess what China can retaliate by dumping all US holdings and other countries will follow to recoup what they can. This causes superinflation and skyrocketing interests rates.

  • @mrfwest No to offend as I read your comment. As a Chinese, I find your "assumptions" puzzling. In truth, we are still behind the US in most areas. That is what happens after a 150 delayed start after getting fucked by foreign powers. As for kids moving to the US? Beijing University sent 3000+ students from 2000 to now to study at great schools and 100% all came back with the learned US knowledge. Google them. As for America not paying, obviously you know nothing of economics. CONTINUED

  • The Chinese own Frisco

  • china is a developing slum dog nation. sure the gdp is 2nd in the world but what they don't tell you is 75% of the country work in hell holes. their kids study there ass off and move to the u.s ( only making the u.s better )

eventually America will default on the loans and china wont get shit. America has set the world up to its advantage

  • @Kanoki989 if RMB replace the USD as reserve currency, it won't matter if US bond fall, the loss is peanut compared to the ability to printing money, and that would also stablize RMB. it is foolish to assume China cannot do what US can do. as for US ability to import, it not like US is able to now, US is no longer China's biggest trading partner.

when US help China decade ago, it not because US need China. and now China helping US, it is not because it need US. friend in need is a friend indeed

  • Old joey is looking a bit pasty of lately, is there a viris spreading amongst the whitehouse.

  • NEED A JOB ? TRY FREE TRADE ! BYE BYE JOBS ! BYE BYE TAX BASE !

  • @TheOzskeptic How is he rude? Selling bonds will increase the price of the yuan and make there goods more expensive, their factories would start moving to places like Vietnam and Mexico en masse. Not only that but America would probably stop importing stuff. Or America could (with inflation) increase it money supply to make those bonds worthless then "pay them back" with a fraction of what they bought them.

Do you honestly think the Chinese are stupid??
