The best Americano is made by tamping extremely lightly (almost no weight -- just the weight of the tamp itself) allowing the water to run through fast (within 20 seconds). The makes a nice crema on top too, and not that watered-down flavor of having added hot water.
this video sucks! anybody taking the time to watch a video on how to make an americano most likely already knows that it consists of espresso and water. how about espresso/water ratio?? water temp??
