Portobello Belle, from Communiqué (Dire Straits, 1979)

This song is a lost jewel composed by Mr. Mark Knopfler when he was about my age, in the late seventies. I really don't understand why it's not one of the most played and known Dire Straits' song, but anyway... Here I tried to be faithful to the details of the voice and guitar riff, but you know... I'm not a native english speaker and much less a singer.

Guitar: Fender FR-48 resonator, with a single cone and biscuit bridge, set with open G tunning and a capo over the fifth fret.

Mic: Shure SM 57 dynamic cardioid microphone (I strongly recommend this mic for instrument recording purposes).

Some reverb, noise reduction, compressor and equalizer added with my Mac's Garageband.

As I've said here previously, this was a great little video (very helpful), so thank you for sharing it with us, but its been over 3-months now, so apparently, you don't intend to post the 2-3 chords as previously promised. What a drag! Several folks (including me) were hoping to get some clarification on the exact chords you used.
