THERE WAS A WARNING FROM ISRAEL TODAY THAT IRAN STOP UNRANIUM ENRICHMENT OR FACE a military response.

"ALL OPTIONS ARE ON THE TABLE."

Israeli DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER SHAUL MOFAZ, WHO IS an IRANIAN BORN, CALLED ON COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD TO IMPOSE TOUGH NEW SANCTIONS IMMEDIATELY IF Iran CONTINUES TO INSIST ON URANIUM ENRICHMENT.

"The window of influence is becoming smaller and I believe is about to close.
Iran is continuing to advance toward a nuclear capability and it is heading toward a military nuclear capability heading toward a major breakthrough. For us, such a situation that Iran would have a nuclear power is an existential threat and from the state of Israel point of view it is unacceptable."

"If we want to give the diplomatic solution a chance, we must drastically increase the pressure. Even diplomacy has its limits."

Former US Under Secretary for Political Affairs, (who recently stepped down), NICK BURNS, AN EXPERT ON THE REGION AND A FORMER U.S. SENIOR DIPLOMAT, AGREED AND SAID THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC IS RUNNING OUT OF TIME.

"the ball is very much in Iran's court. Iran has a very good offer on the table it should accept it."

Burns: "I think president bush and secretary Rice are right to say policy should be to deny Iran a nuclear weapons capability not to hope Iran doesn't develop nuclear weapons capability but to deny it. And there's no question we have to have an international consensus on that."

Both Mofaz and Burns agreed on calling upon the international community to step up, Burns described it bluntly:

"The international community must be much tougher on sanctions with Iran."

Mofaz outlined his stance on negotiations with Iran.

"I believe that if negotiations take place and continue -- the red line should be that there is no uranium enrichment on Iranian soil."

IT SEEMED that these statements send A CLEAR AND UNEQUIVOCAL MESSAGE TO the Iranian leaders ON THE EVE OF the NUCLEAR deadline.
