You've managed to get the best tone possible out of that bass, nice big fat double bass sound there. Something serious, keep up the good work ;)

Love that tone. Your sound is so fat. just got an ibanez acoustic bass. Hope I can pull that kind of sound out of it.

Sounds like George of the jungle.

You really catch the expression of a fretless instrument, instead of trying to play it like it has frets. Great groove as always!

Sounds great!!! Nice playing.

groovy man!

I bet those hands slapped many asses!

i have two questions
about the bass: its a good bass?i saw it in internet with a very low price, and in your videos it sounds quite good..
about the fact of being fretless, it harder than a freted bass?it costs more to adapt to this kind of basses?
sorry for my english, it sucks, i'm from spain.

Hi there and i think your English is VERY good! (But i am German, so...)
No, it doesnt feel like an EBass. I think your friends are right.
Its a little bit harder to play but after some time you get used to it and it makes it a lot easier whenever you return to your electric one! ;-)
You can use the same strings but to achieve the best result in tone its better to buy special acoustic strings. Wether you prefer flat or roundwounds is up to your taste.

Hey! nice playing! How do the elixir strings feel? And how were the original strings?
Im about to buy this same bass should i change the strings to elixir too? Someone told me that elixir feels like its covered with a condom (in a good way).

Sorry for the late awnser!
The original strings were crap! Horrible tone without real bottom and highs.
The Elixir strings are fantastic. The feel is quite good.
The only bad thing is that after a (long) time the coating wears of.
Looks quite strange but they still sound okay.
And as i said it takes a very long time until that happens.
Greetings

Great playin man, i really enjoyed it and also the slap instruction-videos. I can't believe this sound comes out of such a cheap acoustic bass. Allthough I believe a lot of the sound comes out of the fingers, which is certainly so in your case.
