This is the Flying Machine mission from Assassin's Creed 2 for Xbox 360. It's a hang-glider made by Leonardo da Vinci. You gain altitude by flying over a fire, otherwise you coast and fall with disastrous consequences.

I had to mute this part. When you past the last roof fire, move towards the left of the screen. There will be a ship on fire, use that and it should lead you on the right course.
