They did the same with video games.
In the game Onimusha 2, they grafted the late Yusaku Matsuda's face for the main character (all the main characters from that game are rendered from famous real life actors).
As for the voice however, they have no choice but to get a different actor to act out the lines.

thats some shit hot technology, thats amazing how they can still do that and if they can't find dialog that fits i with story they can get very good sound alikes
