@6643bear BMW wouldn't let them do a sporting model, they were frightened that a sporting Rover may detract from their own range of overated sporting saloons,,,

@kf6796 No its only the 2.0 auto thats the honda engine, all the other engine options are rover engines

Never understand why Rover didnt do a GTi model like they did on the MK1, they were extemly fast, much faster than my R800 vitesse, I seen a moded R420 with a turdo installed, Some cars had a grey interior, but some had the beige known as Sandstone, I have R420Gsi in grey leather, would love to have a Sandstone interior though. But one thing I cant understand why the sunroff was an option,. although this was corrected on the Rover 45 series.

Its a shame MG Roiver is gone, I agree that Honda should had the change to have ARG/ Rover Group, The Rover brand is now owned by Tata of India, I own a Rover 420GSi 97, Rover Sterling 99, and Vitesse 98, all nice cars.

I will get my driver license soon, and I plan to buy one of these!
rover should never have split with honda....BMW f*cked rover in the ass.....took what they wanted; landrover and the mini and dropped rover like a hot potato......sad rovers gone.....the last affordable yet classy british car manufacturer that outclassed its european competitors 10 fold!

I have ben the proud owner of a number of Rover's over the years ... My present car's are my 1996 Rover 400 saloon and 1998 216 Cabriolet .. They are both FANTASTIC car's and BOTH carry on the Rover tradition 100%!
