Raven vs Lodi Clockwork House of Fun match (Part 1)

Raven has turned on Lodi because he lost his spot in pursuing the NWA United States Championship, now held by Truitt Fields. For the first time ever in professional wrestling history, Lodi meets Raven in the squared circle. Jim Cornette went a step further and turned it into a Ravens Rules Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match, where weapons are suspended around the ring. He did this in an attempt to make Lodi concentrate and not allow Raven to play head games with him.

One correction. NWA Charlotte had one more show after the tag tourney.

@Davidhgi No they didn't the company went on summer break and then closed. NWA Presents started running the following year

That's what I thought but they did have one more. It was at the Metrolina and was headlined by Judas vs. Kimo. It's one of only three me and the wife didn't attend. We went to another wrestling show, I just can't remember which one.

@Davidhgi That was still NWA Presents (It was called NWA in Charlotte) Kimo was not on the last 3 NWA Charlotte Shows, but he was at the 2nd to last show with Matt Hardy watching from the back

Raven invented the match so it is basically his decision how the match would be setup and done.

Isn't a Clockwork Orange House of Fun match supposed to have a steel cage wall opposite the chains where the weapons are?

Yes it was. This was NWA Charlotte's last show outside the tag tournament and the last show at the NWA Charlotte Coliseum.

NWA Charlotte was a small indy, not a big company like TNA so they work with what they have.
