Student was shot with a rubber bullet outside of the Wheeler hall occupation on UC Campus. It is unknown which police agency fired the round. Student interviews with local tv and radio media, and shows his bruise. UC Police Officer refuses to detail the maximum use of force they were authorized to use.

  • @ranondo92 I think reasonable force is sufficient. Rubber bullets are pretty much non-lethal yet sure make themselves known if ya get hit by one.

  • @DW01 ..but don't go about interfering with people that aren't interested in your cause. Simple really.

  • @YouCanCallShitheads are protesters that turn violent or damage property, or disrupt the lives of normal people.

Answer this: Why should my daily journey to work/family visits, etc, be disrupted by people protesting? Why should business owners have their windows smashed or trade disrupted by protesters? Why should people be put out because people want to protest? Fuck 'em is what i say. If they go about it in a decent, non-violent, non-disruptive way then fine (ie in a park or field somewhere).

  • @DW01

In cases like the occupy movement where it is typically non-violent why use rubber bullets? All that it does is make the police force look bad, and injure people who are exercising their first amendment rights legally. And I have not twisted your words, "took a hardline approach to shit heads (for eg using rubber bullets) then we'd have a more respectful society," from what your wrote your position is pretty clear. And these "shitheads" are protestors that should be protected by the law.

  • @Cirspin90 I watch every news agency moslty Judge Napolitano on FOX and the Jack Cafferty on CNN. Why are you wondering?

  • @dragonxg6 The police are doing their job when they prevent crime, not when they attack students. Do you not care about human rights or liberty?

  • @TennVol92 Do you watch Fox News? Just wondering.
