@DevoDevoT this as originally on `the cost of living` EP -`west``groovy` `i fought the law` and re-working of `capital radio``-released as a double single
-
Hey groovy!
-
It's "The king of early evening ITV...", but your lyric seems more logical.
By the way, that second acoustic guitar Mick brings in at the second half is absolute genius. It's the rare occasion that musicians create a true and authentic magical moment, and that solo fits that bill.

The KIng of all evenings is ITV... Groovy times for evermore.

I go all around on U-tube. I love a lot of different music. But guess where I always come back to ? Yes, the only band that matters - The Clash
-
Power pop?! That's rubbish!
-
is this when Topper came in and it all truly clicked?
-
The clash seem like their light years ahead of when they recorded song like londons burning when they cut Groovy Times. It was like, just two years apart. Great power pop, awsome song

THIS IS THE GREATEST EP OF ALL TIME. I'M USING CAPS BECAUSE IT'S THE GREATEST EP OF ALL TIME.

"They were picking up the dead, out of the broken glass."
Bought this in Woolies in 1978 (should have nicked it really), best fucking EP ever! RIP Joe

This is such a great fucking song. Mick's solo is so simple yet exquisitely powerful. Oh and Joe's lyrics. :-)
