yeah this was in the first production run (1st 1000)...442/1000.

That's the reason for the black box.

great score, this was one of bobs designs before he passed away, good to see benchmade put it into production, also a little bit of into on the M4 steel, CPM M4 steel has one of the highest concentratiosn of Vanadium of any steel used in todays market, and its favorored by a bucnh of pople who do cutting competitions...and for good reason! M4 is seen in alot more custom folders because of its expensive to work with...fantastic knife!
