@Goatus666 I suppose this is simply my endless bias and hate towards the newer Zelda games coming through. I just think that this entire game (I've been able to play it since my first comment) and the games before it are just far too easy. I remember having to redo things endlessly in the original games.

Except it didn't just break his shield. It did damage too. Also, even the 2d zelda games are childish. They're completely awesome and probably my favorite games in the series but yes, they are childish. You would be a fool to deny that.

@Goatus666 First of all, what I meant by the lava breaking his shield was that I would expect lava to do a little more damage to him than just breaking his shield.

And yes, the original game was far from childish. If you didn't know what you just did things willy nilly you don't get saved by some asshole on a fucking bird, you DIE.
