Guaranteed Victory!

I am one of those "heretics" that believes God is able to keep me. If salvation is based on someting we must do to keep it, I would expect there a warning in the book of Acts to new Jewish converts and others. In Acts 15, an attempt was made to add circumcision (anything added becomes a law) to salvation and was soundly rejected. Here would been a perfect place to warn the new Gentile converts about salvation maintenance, but nothing in Acts 15, 20,29. Also, when you are witnessing (praise the Lord) and someone were to be saved, when to you give them the good news that it is posible to lose it.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:10

How can anyone dislike this preacher? He worked himself to death for anyone who would listen or come to his meetings. This family put everything they had into the Gospel Hour, I have been to their home and have seen the way they work hard for the Lord. I only wish there were more people like him in the world today.

So many people who think they are Christians are not saved soul. The simple Gospel confounds people. Only saved sinners go to Heaven. Must trust in Jesus' shed blood to pay for remission of sins, nothing more, nothing less. If one thinks they must do some behavior to help save themselves, they are not saved. Ephesians 2:8-10 Salvation by grace not works.

I've always enjoyed this guy very much. Been listening to him for almost 20 years. He wasn't educated and he was weighted down by baptistic legalism, but if you are mature in the Word, it's pretty easy to ignore it and get to the meat and potatoes of his messages. I prefer deep theological teaching rather than preaching anyway . Hope to see more here on youtube. Thanks for posting it

Oliver B. Greene is a SUPERB preacher! I actually have a couple of his books "Bible Truths" and "Seven Voices".
