@watatatow To be fair, I recall the guy who was director of this show saying he was unsatisfied with the ending. Then he went on to make what was later known as episodes 25 and 26 of Evangelion...

I know, it takes a whole lot of crazy to actually believe Nadia was a bad series. I might even venture to say it was one of, it not THE best show ever made by Gainax.

That being said, the movie felt kinda forced, so I try to pretend that never came to be.

@kemuael Unpopular to the point that the network to pushed Gainax into extending the show for 13 episodes beyond its planned run, that it won a whole bunch of awards, got its own (crappy) movie, and went on to sell an average of 36000+ units for each DVD volume (which is huge for an anime, btw) despite the fact that it was made in 1990. Yes, you could say it was pretty unpopular.
