THE GHOUL 1997 PHONE CALL

Here is a call I made in 1997 to the gentleman who played tv local horror movie host, THE GHOUL on old tv channel 61 in Cleveland, Ohio in the early seventies and eighties and then in the late-nineties. "HEY GROUP!" A great guy and a great host! Thanks for listening!

I remember picking up some of his broadcasts in Detroit when the weather was clear and the station would come in from Detroit here in Cleveland. Glad to hear you still have horror hosts these days out there. Thanks for commenting on and watching this video. Much appreciated!

The Ghoul was well known in Michigan during the 70s and 80s but has not been around since then! Today, we have a new TV movie horror host, Wolfman Mac on Saturday nights at midnight on ch 20.

Yes, I think they even have a book out about all the vintage horror movie hosts around the country from the late fifties all the way to near present day. I can't remember the title but it sounds like an excellent reference book to have. Thanks for watching this video!

Very cool! Back in the early 70's we lived in Florida for a few years and used to watch "Creature Feature" hosted by Dr. Paul Bearer (Dick Bennick). I guess these classic horror flick shows existed all over the country.
