McCain to 14-yr-old Girl: Fair Pay Act Wouldn't Help Women

As usual people bash the conservative. Mccain said he didnt want any SoL on an unfair pay suit. He never said he didnt want women to have equal pay.

the girl that ask the question is my best friend, Hayley. her and her family are the nicest family anyone will EVER meet in thier entire life! she is soooo intelligent. i was so proud of her when i seen her on the news. she had a damn good reason to ask that question, and a damn good question at that! and i wasn't suprised when he did'n't even answer the question..... when does he answer a question? but Hayley deserves a standing applause!:) GO HAYLEY!!!!!:)***

OMG shes like my bestest friend so she is awesome!!! grow a brain and maybe you will realize that he did answer the question. you can't simplify a bill like she tried to do. bills get disguised all the time as being for women's rights, or minority rights, or for poor people, when all they do is empower special interest groups. mccain saw that this would help trial lawyers (the scum of the earth) and voted against it.

I have to agree with you.. Seems like a good answer. Particularly considering that the girl who asked the question had simply interpreted the law he didn't vote for as one that gave equal rights to women when it appears that there was no such vote. If they are both referring to the same bill then mccain has given good reasons why he didn't support it. I support Obama all the way but Mccain is still a decent man. Don't be blinded by ur support people!
