Pokémon Stadium - Gym Leader Castle - Pewter City Gym [1/2]

Here's the first part of the Pewter City Gym battles. This video covers the first two battles; the final two battles will be shown in the next video.

As a side note, this wasn't my original Red team; I just happened to see a box of six capable Pokémon, and decided to use them.

This was originally going to be a one-off type of video, but I may finish the Gym Leader Castle + the Elite Four if enough viewers would like me to do so. Enjoy.

~ First match, vs. Bug Boy:
Uhh... yeah, this match was kind of a joke. The Substitute was obviously unneeded. Oh well. For the record, Rhydon was my favorite Pokémon back in the RBY days.

I used:
Rhydon (Crusher)

The opponent used:
Metapod, Kakuna, and Beedrill.

~ Second match, vs. Lad:
Again, the set-up move here was totally unneeded; in this case, it was Swords Dance. Another easy sweep. Then again, this IS the first Gym, so the opposing Pokémon are all weak.

I used:
Charizard (Blaze).

The opponent used:
Ekans, Paras, and Bulbasaur.

Jon, just watching this makes me want to cry. I remember getting this when I turned 11 years old. I had an N64 and Pokemon Stadium was one of the best games I've ever played due to its many features and the transfer pak. I'm looking forward to see you conquer the Gym Leader Castle and the Elite Four. I just wished PBR was like this but with Wi-Fi for battling, contests and even co-op.

this game revolutionized games forever it connected console gaming with hand held games its even greater then what the wii does today i mean wii only lets you send stuff to your game card

just watching this made me pull my N64 out of my closet and find pokemon stadium and stadium 2 and beat the gym leader castle... ah those were the best and for a game of its time actually had decent graphics and it had jsut the first 151 and only 149 till you got to mewtwo part then mewtwo and mew were able to rent if im mistaken sorry i havent beaten that part from begining i just normally play free battle with friends and stadium 2

@95carsfan easy catch a weedle and caterpi and train it to lv 50 and then evolve it or vice versa evolve but make sure they have tackle (caterpi) or poison sting (weedle)
