  • My dad bought the metal detector for me and he doesnt trust it because we have saw it read as a nail but when whe picked it up, it was a tab. Do you have any idea why its like that?

  • @reyssoda Most entry and some of the mid range detectors will do this , even some high end machines will give out an "iffy" signal on very deep targets or if the target is just deeper than what the machine was designed for , I will be re-visiting the old test bed with some new detectors very soon ..

  • Most entry level detectors will do this especially in this texas soil, I NEVER said this was the best one out there , i was just simply testing it .. My DFX , Eagle spectrum and my other advanced detectors dont do this . Its not Junk as you say , i am just pushing it to the limits of what it was designed to do ..

  • thanks this helped

  • Rey... Suggestions? Take it out and use it as much as possible. The Coinmasters are better than the Ace 150 or 250. The Ace 350 is the newer kid and Garrett Copied the Coinmasterr Frequency and Added a Wide Scan Loop. the Best of Coinmaster Line Up is the 5G because you can now balance the ground precisely.

  • @au4greg Yea my dad bought me a Whites Coinmaster. Any Suggestions on that?

  • Almost all the Chinese Metal Detectors like the MP3 etc will not target ID correctly. stick with White's Metal Detectors. Made in the USA and designed to function efficiently over mineralized ground. The Prizm II is now the Coinmaster with a NEW 9" Open Loop. Questions call the White's 800 # for your nearest White's Professional Dealer.

  • What is better, the whites coin shooter or the Garrett's ace 250? I live in Bend,or. and I like that the Whites factory is 50 or so miles away. But the ace 250 is more popular. I am a beginer so all I will be hunting is coins and jewlery. Right now I have a Discovery 1100 from Bounty hunter but I want to upgrade to a better machine.

  • i got it for christmas and i havent tested it but how good is it?

  • Ok Thankyou Very much Tex

  • The prizm 2 hasn't a dept meter(the 3 has) and it only goes to 6 inches and de prizm 3 to 8+ inches
