  • The most deceiving movement of the history of Pakistan was the one which was launched by the religious political parties in 1977. Large masses of people followed the appeals of the so called Ulemas and sacrificed their lives for the sake of the Islamic system in the country. After the imposition of Zia's Martial Law, these political religious organizations began to support the dictator for nothing in the interest of the nation. However, they later made of lot of money through the Afghan war.
