Metro 2033 - Flying demons are hard :(

So it turns out that flying demons are nearly impossible to kill with guns, despite my best efforts.

Sticky bombs are the best. Only takes one. Otherwise, the best weapons for killing these "ridleys" are the belt-fed shotgun (if you have a version of the game that includes it*) or the volt driver (*same). But if you want a challenge, it's fun to try to shoot them out of the air with a no-scope revolver (any version) or any no-scope 5.45 rifle.

this is why i hate demons i tried picking on 1 but he kept on flying out of my sight.

all u need to do is get to the little shelter area which is your objective and get grenades with nails in them and stick it to them...or just blow them up with a regular grenade
