I am not bright enough to figure out chords and/or picking patterns to any of Dan's (coolanddark) original songs but I wanted to show my respect in some way. I went way back into his archives and covered one of his covers. I hope that counts and I don't get beat up over this. My heart is truly in the right place, and this is such a fun song to sing. Its a Harry McClintock song, but I first heard it from Burl Ives. I mean who wouldn't want to come across a lake of stew, and of whiskey too and where streams of alcohol are trickling down the rocks and nobody to tell you to change your socks, and the guy who invented work was hung, Huh? (how is that for a run on sentence?) Dan - I hope you like this - I even copied the little mistake you made in your version, although mine was a bigger one and much more obvious. The words I have are written I believe in the smallest font possible to fit on one page. I lost my place momentarily, so that is what my goof up was. Sorry to the purists...
O jay its not a serious song as you sing it..
