I think this is from 1989, a very young and sweet Sissel Kyrkjebø performs Somewhere at the United Nations benefit "Our Common Future". Sadly I had recorded this at the end of a vhs-tape, so her second performance (of Vestland, Vestland) is cut off from the beginning :crying: But thankfully Somewhere is complete!

That's a hard song to sing. A lot of held notes. I've heard others sing it and start to lose the pitch slightly. It's such a shame that beautiful young women have to grow old. Ah well, such is life. She has done quite well in her career, especially after Titanic.
