It musy be professional musician (not just occasionally sunday) to appreciate such performing.Miles would have been grateful because a trained classical strings quintet is playing his piece, just as he in turn played the other giants music, sometime in such interpretation that THEY may not have wanted to listen...
-
I have nothing against violin and cello. But there is no groove and no soul (and no blues) in that interpretation.
-
Why?
Violin is well recognised in Jazz, (needless to say as is double Bass) and dosn't it follow that cello fits 'Jazz' too?
Im a cellist and alot of my work is jazz (we played a gig with this piece in!)

nice!!!!!

@nassreiskulturen This interpretation is certainly an insult to Miles Davis!
-
@nassreiskulturen Thank you for confirming me. ("Oh and yeah it really has nothing to do with blues...")
...and where is your problem?
-
@bottlepost It`s the tune. It`s called "All Blues". I can`t believe I have to tell this to somebody. Oh and yeah it really has nothing to do with blues... except from the chord progression it is based on and the lines they are playing.

VERY VERY COOL, if I were record producers, I will sign you guys up immediately after this song.
