AR-15 .223 takes down 300 pound wild boar

A Few Notes:

-Personally I shoot with 30-06 S&W iBolt and 30-06 Browning BAR. My ammunition is Barnes TSX by Black hills 180 grain or Barnes TSX Federal Premium 165.
That and my Bowtech patriot which landed a 600-700 pound pig this same day. My friend's first time hunting with a .223 which (I know) is not ideal caliber but can still get the job done. It is twitching just like a chicken with head cut off but IMO, the pig was dead after the second shot.

-Also the helicopter Neuces Hog hunts are done with a .223, so I think it's fine for killing with a good shot (again, I believe the 2nd shot was good).

@behrooz4 A .223/5.56 round is easily enough to take down a wild boar. Yes a 6.8spc would be better but a .223/5.56 wound is enough. That round traveling at 3020 fps is good enough to penetrate body armour and kill insurgents. Why not a wild boar?

The pig was dead. Did you know most of the large game in the us was killed with a .22lr even buffalo. You guys are so ignorant you bitch about humane kills and eat bacon from torcherded pigs killed in slauter houses. the 223 is incredibly powerful round. I have seen it blow off half a pigs head with the right ammo. I would feel safe with my ar around ten grizzly bears
