@danicaine10 If it is odd to thank strangers, well then we're in this together. My first vlog on youtube was to thank the guys on itsTtime2010 for telling their stories. So you're welcome!

We need more parents like you. My parents tolerate my transition but they don't accept it yep You are an amazing person to post this video.

You are undoubtedly the greatest parent to ever walk this planet.
I have the strangest urge to tell you I love you. In a non weird way, of course.

I haven't came out too anyone but my friend who is transgender. And if I told my dad, he'd never talk to me again. Fact. He hates lesbian and gay people, and transgender people. You're an amazing dad. Keep it up!

@LizzieA03 I kind-of think there are lots of accepting parents out here, just not so many comfortable with admitting it yet on YouTube.

You are so wonderful! It is so great to see that there are accepting parents out there.

I swear to God, if there is even one dislike on this video..
On a side note, Mr. Jim, you're hope. :) Big hope. Thank you. I hope my mom comes around soon.
This world isn't doomed yet, after all!

sir, i have to tell you this video is incredible. i am so happy for your son, peter. you are an amazing supportive father. it makes me so sad my family can't accept me like you accept your son for who he is. most of us face rejection by our families, but peter is so fortunate to have a father like you. i'll be honest, being on testosterone for over a year makes it really hard for me to cry, but watching this made me tear up. thank you for putting this out there.

@ShaneAlan78 I've been on testosterone for 48 years, and I still tear up when I watch or read some of the bittersweet stories posted by transfolk. I'm sure this is not a path anyone would choose to take, but the supportive community can make it a beautiful place to be sometimes, in spite of the difficulties.

@SkinninMacKinnon I should have asked you 5 months ago what your dad thought of this video. You know if he wants to get in touch by email or phone to talk about our kids, you can drop me a private message and I'll give you contact info.
