"One Summer Night". The track was originally released on AMP-3 2115, as being by The Danleers. Their one big hit single (and their debut single)
"One Summer Night"
(b/w "Wheelin and A-Dealin'"), reached #4 on the Billboard Black Singles chart, and #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1958.
The Danleers was an American doo-wop group in the 1950s. They were a quintet hailing from Brooklyn, NewYork. Jimmy Weston was the lead singer, and the group was named after their manager, Danny Webb, who wrote their most famous number "One Summer Night".
