AC-15 Electric Motor Bench Test

This is the first power-up bench test of the AC-15 electric motor and Curtis controller that will go in my electric bike conversion.

I like it.

But there 2 things I'm surprised. I still find it noisy for a 3 phases motor.

And also nothing holding the motor in place, I guess you went smooth on the acceleration so it does not start flying on the bench.

@1943vermork - it was a lot noisier on the bench than it is in the bike. I think the small space it was in amplified the sound. Now, on the bike, the chain is the loudest component and out in the street, even that is well below the ambient noise level. That version of the video is probably the third time I spun it up. The first time, it did almost go off the bench.
