@chuckdamage yeah but even those they called emo didn't want to be called emo, like minor threat, they were straight edge haha

@TheBlackOnWhiteCrime whoa shit you nailed it. I sometimes wonder who that sweaty kid from Detroit was in the basement of ABC NO RIO in NYC watching these guys play. It was supposedly me but it doesn't seem real. I miss the kid that I was.

@DSNightwalker This is totally what emo was before it was hijacked by the mainstream.
-
I am still waiting for my Chesterfield King... wth.
-
@NYstateofCons I appreciate your concern and I will hold on as long as I have music in my life.
-
@gmx1100 Also Rites of Spring The Get Up Kids and Saves the Day were considered emo and it wasn't such a lame term associated with middle class poseur unoriginal technology drones.
-
@everyoneishomeless Why do you wish you were dead? I used to go to punk shows and dance in NYC when I was 13. Now I'm 30. Hold on please and just stay present-its life ups and downs-I know how you feel trust me..no one said this was easy.

I wish I was fucking dead. This song makes me feel a little bit better.

@gmx1100 you realize whjen they called it emo the bands didnt like that, minor threat was not emo they were straightedge. the fashion called emo took from this name, but i think it would be worst than mall punk, most of these are all hot topics fault , this is what one of my friends thinks. but the major issue is the goth part of the fashion that they steal. and some were grunge like nirvana. the band should name its style not the fans!
