FISHBANE Scary Places Speedrun

This took an hour to do, and almost as long to edit down to a 2:44 video. This is the last level of FISHBANE, Scary Places, done almost as quickly as possible. There are a couple spots that could be optimized, and some hesitations that could be done without, but this is pretty much it. I finished in 158 seconds, and I'd put the theoretical fastest time at around 145-150. Think you can do it?

After playing this the first time I noticed a route on the last screen that can save some time. I've done the math and it SEEMS possible but I haven't bothered testing it. Once I get done with speedrunning the other levels of the game and putting them up on youtube, I will test it and see if it will work while trying to beat your time at the same time. It's going to be a long recording to edit lol. You did a great job though. Congrats.

@DarknessKight For sure there's a path adjustment on the last level, the second time going up the left: better use can be made of the spears to get past the second rock dude. Add to that the few hesitations I did, and you can easily shave 10 seconds off my time here. I wish you luck in your efforts for a faster speed run. I'm sure not making another attempt.

It also may be possible to go between the falling rock dudes on the easy level. You may want to explore that idea while you're there too.

There is an uber shortcut on the 3rd screen. Surf into the spike area in the bottom right. It takes ya right to the 4th screen.
