A mix of songs from Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. Unlike my Sonic for SNES video, I didn't do nearly every song, mostly just my favourites.
Again, these are MIDIs played back in SNES soundfonts (mostly F-Zero, Kirby's Dream Land 3, and Super Mario Kart.)
I think these covers came out better and closer to ture SPCs than my Sonic 1 covers (I never exceeded 7 tones.)
Overall, they're very good. (I think the last three songs are my favourites.)

  • Very strange on the whole lol. It's a good attempt, I won't discredit you there. It's different, but hey, I liked the Sticker (Exercise) and Final (VS Mode) arrangements a lot.

My opinion though? It doesn't really work that well. I recommend you listen to the Super Puyo Puyo soundtrack and the instruments used in that game, the songs sound much better in comparison. A good attempt nevertheless.

  • @tomatzu I disagree with you there. I think the Mean Bean Machine sound samples are way superior to the Puyo Puyo ones, so those are the ones I tried to eumulate.

  • "1P vs. 2P Mode"... I do believe that's the theme of the dreaded SATAN! >=D

  • You should rip some samples of your own, I tried but I couldn't

  • @KingMeteorStudios Let's be honest, in terms of the Megadrive samples between MBM and PP they were virutally the same (except the percussion). Yes MBM sounds dark anyway but that's due to the sampling, but if we're comparing YM2612 and SPC700 samples of the same songs, then yes, I prefer the YM2612 sampling.

In my opinion though it doesn't really work with the instruments you have used.

  • 5:42 for real badass music on this game :)

  • Excellent. This is what Kirby's Avalanche on the SNES should have sounded like.
