Fan of Halloween

Just a little poem I wrote for Halloween entitled:
Fan of Halloween

I am such a fan of Halloween, we children call the shots.
We wear many different costumes, both big kids and tiny tots.
The fall leaves rustle loudly in the cool dark of the night.
Wispy clouds float in the sky and conceal the full moon light.
Then shining in dark, carved faces softly glow.
Candles flicker inside Jack O Lanterns showing monsters where to go.
I see witches, ghouls, and ghosts march up and down the street.
They ring the neighbors doorbells and shout out trick or treat!
The neighbors give from big round bowls to mummies dressed in rags.
One by one and house by house, the children fill their bags.
With bubble gum, chocolate bars, and popcorn balls so dandy.
Mummies walk all hunched and tried; their bags so full of candy.
Yes, Halloweens a special time, we children are the kings.
So it's no surprise to hear that, I'm a fan of spooky things.
A happy Halloween is what I wish to you.
If you are not scared by now, I'll have to shout out...
