Why would the nations of France and Poland even waste their time over this one individual's arrest? This man (Roman Polanski) obviously has very powerful friends - friends, with no regard for the law, capable of helping him escape justice decades ago (transport, hideouts, etc) and continuing to protect him (a rapist and pedophile) to this day.

In the United states having sex with an individual under 18 is against the law PERIOD. If certain folks don't like this, well then they have a choice to leave. Or Pay..
