@boiledegg101 I commend you for finding kindness in people. That's says a lot about one's character. But I, for the life of me, can't find too many instances in any of these episodes where Hyacinth showed any genuine kindness towards anyone unless she could use it as a tool to manipulate her social status-- that is, the status she has deluded herself into thinking she has.

I read somewhere that Hyacinth hated the first Rose and they just didnt get along so she was sacked as the Brits say. Also PBS only shows this one and Sea Fever during pledge drives because they are so long.I

@bronteteri I think Hyacinth lives in sort of her own world. She honestly believes she's being kind and giving to the people around her.

hyacinth is the most iratating, selfish, b word i have ever seen. why don't richard tell her to get out of the car herself and open the gate at Onslow? he's got GOUT!!!! lol.

I found out that Onslow's tattoos aren't real..they airbrushed them on before each taping..Hyacinth is actually a great singer and so is Onslow...

the wierd thing about hyacinth is that even though shes snobby and stuff, shes clearly a real kind person. you dont get that kind of depth of character in sitcoms these days
