Peter Constantine, a 2011 Cullman Center Fellow, is an award-winning literary translator and editor who is translating 80 neglected early stories by Anton Chekhov, which he found in Russian magazines in the NYPL collections. Our team caught up with Peter to learn more about his work, these stories, and how they made their way into the Library's holdings.
