Oh, it's nearly every gag from the 2011 April Fool's Day show, only with funnier descriptions of (fake) prizes, in a shorter amount of time, and neither intruding into the way the game is played nor pulling itself along with a vague notion of a "10,000th thing"

@Tubewings Probably either a new car or two new cars.

We need Johnny Olson and Bob Barker back at the helm! Anyone have access to a time machine?

This is why the announcer should be a great straight guy...not a comedian like George Gray is...
Having a "straight guy" (not sexually straight, comedically straight...get your heads straight guys) helps sell a ridiculous showcase like this. The most painful thing I ever saw...Rich Fields doing "knock knock" jokes. He might have funny moments, but he is too serious for knock-knock who's there.
For an indication of what I'm talking about, check out Bob Hope...he's straight yet funny.

That copy sounds like something Dick DeBartolo would have written between _MAD_ premises. And producers like Roger Dobkowitz would have pulled it off well.

It's hard to see the show without Bob.

I love how April Fools flashes for 1 second.
Funny.
