1980 recording of the million-selling European hit. They really missed a trick by not releasing in the UK as it hadn't been a hit there. Certainly cheesy enough to rub chart shoulders with "I'm in the Mood for Dancing" and "Feels Like I'm in Love".

@WizoHH9247 No. The band is from Great Britain. But the song was written by a Dutchman named Hans van Hemert, and originally recorded by the Dutch Girlgroup "LUV". In the late 70´s/early 80´s there were a lot of songs with such easy lyrics, mainly from the Netherlands.... great pop music... LUV, Pussycat, The Cats, George Baker Selection, Nick McKenzie, Jack Jersey... just to name a few

BRILLIANT! Poor Brotherhood of Man, This should have been released as a single in 1980 and they would have set the charts alight again.

I had only heard "You're the Greatest Lover" by the female Dutch group Luv' before.

I couldn't agree more Michael. Even Irish group Gina Dale Haze & The Champions had a top 10 Irish hit with this. The best the UK had was a miniscule hit by Jonathan King. Love the song, love BOM, should have released this, NOT Honey Don't Throw Our Love Away
