Royal Gardens Lava Flow Oct 14, 2008

Major outbreaks from the active tube system on Kilauea have produced large flows in the central area of the Royal Gardens Subdivision. These video clips show a stream of lava at about the 700 foot elevation between the western and eastern parts of the subdivision. Also shown is a family of feral pigs on the eastern part of the subdivision.

Thanks gretchen. 2dogs (lavapix) was also out there that day on a nearby flow but we never saw each other. He was actually in the white house at one time while I was at this flow.
