sorry to say but not everyone is that narrow minded to only be listening to clapton.

Britney Spears is okay in comparison to Lohan and Simpson, as i THINK she writes her own songs. the others, i would doubt it.

Britney Spears writes her own songs? Do you ever listen to lyrics when you're litening to a song? I think my 5 years old cousin can write something more sophisticated than what she wrote.

I can't BELIEVE that someone who listens to Blues can listen to modern and say it's good.

I can't argue if her lyrics are better or worse. I know there are some that are acceptable.

Anyway, it's a new era of music now. And people are born into different eras. The ones that have recently jumped into this world of music is being brainwashed by the mainstream content (which will include the three women you have mentioned), so it's not likely that they will be exposed to artists as significant as clapton anymore.

Don't tell me that modern music is not bad, either. It's getting good.

I always thought Andy has such an unusual fingerstyle technique. I never saw anyone else play like that. It seems he has no set finger positions, instead he sort of flails away with his picking hand. Very strange. And I don't think I ever saw him with a pick.

Bit of trivia: Andy is the only guitarist to ever play on a Who album.
