Mmm... Weta Goodness...

Dad found a massive Weta in our front yard. They're actually amazing insects, but, their appearance proves to be somewhat repulsive! They can hiss, vomit, and also kick using their big spined back legs.

There is a type of weta that can be put in a freezer/fridge (can't remember which one) for a few days and survive 'the snowy winter'. Lol -haven't tried that one yet... :O
