Oops, too long winded. I didn't web know I was going on a wreck dive till out little boat pulled up to it. Just for the haters out there, I have since been PADI open water certified. That one amazing experience inspired me to make the leap, and open my wallet ;)

Absolutely love this video. Not only was the Astron my first wreck dive (June 2010), it was my first dive, period. Yes, I know. How did I pull that one off?
Well, long story short, I was going out for one of those resort dives, that require no training, and my dive master had to leave just beforehand for an emergency. I was placed in another group going out that day, and nobody told them I never dove before (except for 30min in the hotel pool the day before). I didn't even know it was a w

thanks Pierjean. i was diving around the Astron already back in 1995. my 2nd openwater dive. i was very impressed, being 13 to 15m deep, near this big dark wreck ... it seems that the waves have already taken much of it away...

This was my first wreck dive and my 4th open water certification dive too
probley one of the best dives that i have ever done
leaving for riu bambu [ near astron] for my certification / first wreck dive feb 1 -7 th. how deep was the dive ? looks great .

The wreck was about at 40' deep if my memory is right.

i might go diving on this wreck since i just got certified but on the interior. could u tell me what the interior is like?

well you have to be certified as a wreck diver to go inside you know that right? I did not go inside because there is nothing to see.
