Army sappers specialize in punching through an enemy's defensive lines. It's their job to take down whatever stands between combat forces and their target... by whatever means necessary. To earn the sapper tab, soldiers must endure 4 weeks of intense physical punishment, science, and special demolitions tactics training. Sapper school moves fast and furious. There is no heavy equipment to help them break through: what they carry on their backs is what they have to work with. Soldiers suffer through weeks of demolitions testing and physical torment, then fight through a week of nonstop missions with less then 10 minutes of sleep a night. Carrying 80 pound packs, they must struggle up, over, and through any obstacles the instructors put in their path. Only on the final day do they learn their fate. Over 50% will not earn the coveted Sapper Tab.

  • thumbs up if you're military and love reading what civilians tell you "they're going to do" in the military.

    source: ranger-qualified 11A

  • @UnluckyShamrock13 Dude, Recon Marines have fallen out of this school, and ranger school. In 2008 two recon marines couldn't even finish the best ranger competition. I think you're not in the military and don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

  • @brendanownsu Keep in mind that they can't show everything that the course puts applicants through for a number of reasons

  • go combat e!

  • this seems to be not quite as hardcore as some of the other ones (rangers) not saying its not intense or crazy but after just watching those it doesnt look quite as difficult (i am on part 1 it might get harder in part 2 and 3)

  • just signed as a combat engineer in army reserves. it would be cool to go here

  • @Trueblue1tres Sorry, I'm black. I can't help myself

  • @thire10 Don't get your panties in a bunch, all I did was correct your lack of military knowledge and you wanna puff your chest out. So put your chest back in because it's not that serious. You'd never make it in the 82nd & especially in Sapper or Ranger school, with your immaturity. So take it how you want it, because you getting all pouty only makes me laugh.

  • its funny if he says get off my tower sapper get off my tower sapper

  • @thire10 Don't get all butt hurt just because you watched a couple youtube vids of some notable US Army units & schools and tried to sound all Hooah naming off a couple of them; then got called out on in your inaccuracies. What you said showed a lack of knowledge, and so you got corrected by a former Staff Sergeant in the US Army who was stationed at Ft. Bragg - Home of the Airborne, Special Ops & 82nd ABD.

But nice try at sounding tough while still sounding like a moron.

  • @Trueblue1tres Funny, I didnt ask for your info. Read my comment again then make a fool of yourself again
