Tiko and PJ: Sweethearts of the rescue

Listen as Tiko offers kisses and courts PJ. He asks for kisses and does a courting dance for her. She does not respond that much since she is more interested in his millet at the moment. Both birds were raised together and were being badly neglected when we brought them in. Tiko will never grow back his feathers. PJ is splayed leg and her feathers were in horrible shape when she came to us. Now she is gorgeous!

Thanks for the comments everyone! These two are up for adoption for anyone in Florida. I am willing to travel to do a homecheck . I am looking for the "perfect" home for these two. You have to be able to really cater to their needs.

a couple of years ago a car in front of us hit a bird. We stopped The female died and the Male stayed near my wife as she moved the female off the road onto the grass. That male was still with her when we left a while later Real love birds.
