  • I'm impressed. Nice job with the handles and the shots.

  • Nearly 4 minutes to pull a 38 second shot? Maybe a bit of over tamping. Good thing no one was waiting to drink that coffee. But nice looking machine.

  • Probably a good machine, but if making a simple god-damn cup of freaking coffee takes THAT much work, fiddling and farting about, I'd say get effed to the machine. And for all that, you ended up with (what looked like) a shot glass/thimble full of pale coffee. Coffee should be simple and quick, and shouldn't take that much fart-arsing about. Thats fucken stupid. ANYthing that is so fiddly is a complete worthless waste of time.

  • Hi there, i dont mean to be a pain but since you're obviously trying to get the perfect coffee then heres a couple of things you missed.

-You didnt do a proper cooling flush of the group. that water coming out and through your coffee would have been way over temp. you should be flushing at least 200ml through the group right before pulilng your shot.

-start extracting as soon as you lock in the portafilter. if it sits there for even just a few seconds the coffee will start burning.

    Cheers :)

  • very nice love the timberwork involved in and around the coffee outfit ,very impressive pour, could you tell me what gauge you are using on the machine i hav a rancilo s27 tring to get similiar dual gauge outfit for it hard to find thanks val.

  • Thanks for the NFO, one more thing, what's the grimac model? I went to check ebay, can't find one :( thanks!
