Inka Marka play south American music with an indigenous flavour, drawing on the influences of the Incan people who were make up a large part of the populations of Peru and Ecuador.

I posted a video last year, shot in Toronto, that included a segment by another such group.

I like the fast-paced rythyms and the pan flute! :-)

  • its awsome ..... love it !!!

  • @1208ankit I bought their CD. It's really easy to listen, too. :-)

  • great music...hope it doesn't seem too condescending or patronizing to say the Inca beats and melodies always seem so incredibly sophisticated, not to mention beautiful...its been my favorite music for years

  • CliffKFF: Compliments are rarely patronising or condescending. Glad you liked the vid.
